Summer and Jackie

Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actor best known for playing Margo on The Magicians, a Syfy show that ran from 2015 to current. She had previously gained recognition for playing the role of the 13-year-old American Lebanese girl Jasira Maroun as she goes through a series of turbulent personal struggles against set against the backdrop of the U.S. war in Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. The film was later chosen as one of the 10 actors in Variety's list of Actors to Watch for 2007. The role she played was another one of her most memorable characters Taslima Jahangir in 2009's crime drama film Crossing Over for which she received nominations for the Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Lead category. Apart from Lucky 7, she also appeared onscreen in a variety of films like Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake, and the film Moozlum The Last Airbender Pop Star.
